Lady Dan has impressed with singles lifted from her upcoming debut album, I Am The Prophet. The latest, ‘No Home’ might be her most personal, impressive release yet. It centres on feelings of grief and bereavement, a “narrative of losing every comfort that was familiar to me, all at once,” she explains. “Mothers, fathers, partners, homes; stripped bare. In the grief, I was able to get a clear head, and learn how to take ownership of myself.” The folky, guitar-led track comes with a simplistic yet artistic video that doubles down on the vulnerability of the song.
